Care. Consciousness. Constance. Concreteness.

Care

Our winery has been designed to fully integrate itself with the surrounding landscape and to be a welcoming and comfortable place for the people who come to visit and who work there.
The natural slope of the hill allowed us to find intelligent energy saving solutions, exploiting the force of gravity.
In its construction, only local and natural materials were used, some of them recollected from previous basement excavations of the winery itself.
Just as we did for the winery over the years, we have invested in the recovery of all the rural houses located on our vineyards. Some examples are Casa Maffei, Casa Faustina and Bettinelle.
Consciousness

To ensure that our customers are fully aware of what they drink, we have structured ourselves by shortening the distances in our supply chain, from the bunch of grapes to the glass.
We deal directly and actively with our business, using sustainable practices aimed to increase the quality of the materials we use.
We adopt a conscious approach in the use of resources, trying to limit energy consumption and waste. We produce energy from biomass, recover and use low environmental impact packaging materials.
Constance

We were the first winery in the world to certify for the use of biodiversity-friendly protocols in accordance with the Biodiversity Friend standards.
We spread the culture of sustainability and respect for biodiversity also through guided visits to the winery and our vineyards. In 2020 we were awarded the Best of Wine Tourism award for sustainable practices. We are active members of the WRT (Wine Research Team), a group of 35 companies that put scientific research at the service of sustainable viticulture.
Concreteness

We have been certified as Organic operators and we and we ask all our partners to certify themselves according to the National Quality System of Integrated Production.
We adopt harvest techniques and precision viticulture.
We are looking for persistant vines to achieve the goal of almost completely reducing the use of chemicals in agriculture.
